OVERVIEW OF DEPARTMENT
THE CREDIT ANALYSIS & RESEARCH (CAR) TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCTING COMPREHENSIVE CREDIT ANALYSIS AND FINANCIAL ASSESSMENT OF CORPORATE CLIENTS TO SUPPORT SOUND CREDIT DECISIONS. THE TEAM WORKS CLOSELY WITH RELATIONSHIP MANAGERS, HEAD OFFICE, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE CREDIT RISK MANAGEMENT AND PORTFOLIO QUALITY.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare credit applications and partner with key stakeholders, including Asia Pacific Credit Division (APCD), Europe Credit Division (ECD), and America Credit Division (ACD), to drive follow-up discussions and Q&A.
- Monitor customer's financial performance and prepare Form-19 reports and special credit reviews to support sound credit decisions.
- Develop quarterly Close Watch monitoring reports and coordinate follow-up actions and communications among APCD, ECD, ACD, the Seoul branch, and customers.
- Deliver ad-hoc report, analysis, rating simulation, and debt breakdown investigations to support timely business decisions
- Provide back-up support for credit administration activities and help ensure business continuity when required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Credit Analysis team
- Professional certificates such as CPA, CFA, FRM, CDAI are preferred.
- Strong English skills (written and spoken) are required for documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Work effectively as a collaborative team player across functions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with strong coordination skills
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and control.
- Show initiative and a proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Have unrestricted authorization to work in Korea.
