About the opportunity Data and information fuels Swiss Re's business and the insurance industry. An important part of Swiss Re's data and analytics management is the handling and protection of data, documents and records. The value that can be generated through seamless embedding of data and documents in business processes is substantial but at the same time business records must be handled according to laws, regulations and industry standards..
With this role, we aim at strengthening the Records Governance practise within the Group Data Services organisation.
Your main responsibilities: - Policy Framework: Maintain and further develop relevant policies, standards and guidelines in collaboration with Legal & Compliance, Risk Management and other stakeholders.
- Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments within Swiss Re's Digital Governance Framework, including divisional reviews, outsourcing and sourcing due diligence, Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures, Third-Party Oversight, and application decommissioning activities.
- Framework Consulting: Provide guidance and advice to internal customers and Swiss Re partners, offering process, tool, and implementation support.
- Awareness & Training: Develop and maintain training materials, eLearning resources, user guides, presentations, and custom training sessions to raise awareness and support knowledge sharing.
- Compliance Management: Track and report records management conformance status and maturity levels according to the Policy Framework. Furthermore, develop strategies on a risk-based approach to ensure compliance with records management requirements.
About the Team The Data & Records Governance team is responsible for advancing all aspects around data and records in physical and electronic form. The team owns group-wide standards and guidelines, supervises the Swiss Re wide records management practice, and offers advisory services to colleagues in all business and group function.
About you: - Previous professional experience, with a strong focus on information governance, records management, document management, or data protection, governance, risk, and compliance
- Solid understanding of laws and regulations governing records and data management, as well as international best-practice frameworks (e.g., ISO, MoReq).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effectively engaging with both subject matter experts and senior leaders.
- You bring strong analytical skills and enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- You have a proven track record of delivering impactful results and continually seek opportunities to innovate, taking calculated risks to drive efficiency and improvement.
Nice to have:- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Professional (CIP), Information Governance Professional (IGP), or Certified Records Manager (CRM)
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 3,300] and [EUR 5,500] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
