Our client is an international investment banking firm providing insight, expertise and execution to investors, companies and governments. The firm provides a full range of investment banking, sales, trading, research and strategy across the spectrum of equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, futures and commodities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate counterparty credit risk based on analysis of both quantitative and qualitative factors, including fundamental credit analysis, to recommend internal ratings, LGD and credit limits.
- Assess counterparty exposure and evaluate transactional risks associated with various trading activities across Fixed Income, Equities and FX.
- Interact with counterparties to conduct due diligence and prepare counterparty reviews/ transactional credit proposals drawing conclusions relating to credit assessment, risk appetite, exposure drivers and business prospects.
- Participate in negotiations of trading documentation (ISDA, CSA etc.).
- Evaluate collaterals including securities, futures, options, bonds, funds, structured products, and premium financing in either exchange or OTC market and determine the appropriate lending ratios on the collaterals.
- Provide structure financing solutions for Hedge Fund clients, prepared credit proposals for submission to credit approving departments and ensured a timely renewal on special facilities.
- Monitor, analyze and manage the firm's margin financing concentration and exposure/ potential stress exposure.
- Formulate and participate in discussions on credit policies, credit process and system enhancements.
To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 8 years of relevant credit risk experience in financial industry together with excellent market knowledge with sound communication and presentation skills. Candidates with less experience will be considered for AVP position.
