About the ClientOur client is a well-established and reputable organization in Hong Kong, known for its operational excellence and commitment to high standards in governance and risk management. With a commitment to innovation and risk management, they operate real-time, mission-critical systems at scale. They are currently seeking a Senior IT Audit Manager to join their Audit Department. This is a strategic yet hands-on role focused on delivering high-impact audits and supporting enterprise-level initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and prioritize the annual IT audit plan, ensuring risk-based coverage of critical systems and alignment with business needs.
- Independently lead and manage complex audits from planning to reporting, with a strong focus on evaluating risks, controls, and operational effectiveness.
- Act as a subject matter expert in IT systems development, maintaining close relationships with business stakeholders and monitoring strategic project progress.
- Provide practical advice to management on IT risk and control issues, including policy and workflow enhancements.
- Contribute to audit reports and proposals for senior leadership, ensuring alignment with professional standards.
- Supervise and coach audit team members to enhance audit capabilities and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to drive audit automation, data analytics, and improvements to governance, risk, and compliance systems.
- Support the ongoing review and enhancement of audit methodologies and manuals to maintain compliance with international standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in internal audit or related fields, with strong expertise in IT and operational auditing.
- Hands-on experience in leading audits and managing audit teams, ideally within large corporations or professional services firms.
- Solid understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, agile project management, and enterprise systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under pressure.
- High professional and ethical standards.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin); experience in Mainland China is a plus.
