Experience with IPV is preferred but we would also consider product controllers with technical/structured product experience who are wanting to do a more technical role.

The team is a strong one, with about 20 controllers globally, the business is predominantly focused on the fixed income space but operate with an entrepreneurial attitude with regards to trading strategies. The business also offers a strong work life balance with most of senior managers out of the door by 6pm. The business operate hybrid working environment and are in the office 4 days a week however if you want to be in the office 5 days that's fine as the business are in every day.

You will be in charge of the month end valuations as well as the day to day oversight of the Portfolio Managers positions so a strong risk awareness and in depth understanding of best practice when it comes to the risk and control environment.

You will ideally have a strong mathematical background and be able to have both in depth technical discussions with the desk and report up to senior management on key risk matters.

A focus on process improvement as the firm are always looking to innovate and improve their front to back process. Close collaboration with Product Control colleagues as well as risk and compliance will be important.
