Details of the Division and Team:DB Corporate Bank occupies a global leading position in the areas of Corporate Cash Management, Trade Finance and Lending (TFL) and Institutional Cash & Investor Services for corporate customers such as financial institutions. DB Corporate Bank's wide range of innovative and market-leading products for its customers is guaranteed by a highly qualified and experienced team of specialists in product development, structuring and product sales. The TFL area is particularly important in the development and global provision of tailor-made financing solutions.
Transaction Structuring is a dedicated unit within TFL that is holistically responsible for identifying, developing, structuring, marketing and successfully implementing complex customer situations and customized products across all TFL product areas and asset classes. This team has a mandate to develop new structures and client solutions to drive revenues, in addition to working closely with the existing structuring teams and risk functions in the respective TFL product areas, corporate coverage, all 2nd-line functions and product management.

The role as Junior Structurer (i.e. front office employee of the 1st LoD unit) in the TFL Transaction Structuring Team includes supporting the Lead Structurer's origination and execution of solutions or products to serve complex customer requirements or situations. In detail, this includes
- Support the origination of a pipeline and structuring of solutions (across Loans, Documentary Trade and Working Capital products) with the Corporate Bank's core clients in close coordination with Corporate Coverage and TFL Sales
- Support the conducting of necessary due diligence, credit memos, financial analysis and modelling, risk analysis and mitigation in the structuring of solutions and taking the deal through the bank's Credit risk process
- Review financing documentations in line with the approved credit and legal requirements
- Responsible to support developing customer solutions based on existing trade finance, credit and capital market instruments (including derivatives in various asset classes, such as credit and capital market instruments), in accordance with the risk profile of DB Corporate Bank
- Develop the ownership for individual transactions, especially with regards to pricing, economic risk analysis, regulatory and accounting evaluation, documentation negotiation, DB-internal coordination (including NTA and NPA) and their implementation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including risk management, legal, compliance and treasury to ensure that transactions comply with internal and regulatory requirements and policies
- Interface with regional and senior management to monitor contribution to revenue budget and create/ maintain / assist in tracking sectoral trends and other initiatives
- At least 3 years of practical experience in Corporate Banking is required
- Familiarity with Loan department and/or Trade Finance of a bank is a requirement for this role
- Solid background in corporate financial analysis and modelling, and understanding of a bank's risk and product approval procedures
- Knowledge of common booking, pricing and risk analysis systems of a bank
- Strong capability in English as well as any other Asian language is mandatory due to the APAC region and clientele that this role will be required to interact with.
