Join a global financial services firm as a Compliance Assistant supporting securities trading activities in Japan. In this role, you will help ensure adherence to Japanese regulations, strengthen internal controls, and support monitoring, training, and regulatory engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Support compliance monitoring of policies, internal controls, and regulatory risk in alignment with Japanese regulations.
• Assist in internal inspections and investigations, documenting findings and tracking follow-up actions.
• Provide advisory support to business units on compliance matters, reviewing new products and initiatives for regulatory alignment.
• Participate in communication with regulators to identify emerging risks and contribute to firm-wide compliance initiatives.
• Support training activities related to compliance updates, regulatory changes, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• Knowledge or experience with financial products and services.
• Interest in compliance, governance, and risk management.

Soft Skills:

• High attention to detail and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Willingness to learn, collaborate, and take initiative.

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Fluent.
• English: Intermediate to Business level.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in compliance, risk, legal, or audit is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Understanding of Japanese regulatory frameworks.
