Our client is looking for a Chief of Credit Risk to join their executive team to lead their credit risk management efforts as they grow and evolve. Key responsibilities will include:

• Maintain and lead effective oversight of the retail risk governance framework whilst advising across all areas of the business to support, challenge and establish a retail risk strategy
• Develop and implement both a secured and unsecured lending policy in line with organisational strategy
• Review existing processes and procedures across the group with an eye towards risk mitigation and efficiency
• Working closely with the executive team to ensure that credit risk practices are integrated into all aspects of the business and aligned with the bank's long term goals

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Bachelor Degree in relevant field, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline
• 20 years + credit risk experience in a senior management/leadership role within a bank of financial services institution
• Ability to develop efficient and effective solutions to complex issues and a track record of success in implementing credit risk management strategies and frameworks
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a sound knowledge of credit risk principles, methodologies and tools
• Extensive experience or regular liaison with stakeholders from different regions and/or jurisdictions.
